Finals Week....

Scott and I decided to start blogging our engagement period because it is something we want to be able to look back on and remember. On May 15, 2010 Scott and I will be engaged for 18 months. Whew!! It is one long engagement and we are just ready for our wedding night and honeymoon to be able to get on with the fun stuff. We hope that our faith will reach out to many of you because our faith in God has carried us through some of the most difficult times this past year. We are coming up on finals week which is exciting and stressful all at the same time. Sometimes I just wish I could have some sort of break but I know it will all pay off in the end. Today, Scott met me at Kohl's to see me for about an hour until I left to go study. He is such a trooper. Tomorrow my friends from pharmacy school are throwing me a Christmas shower! I am excited to see all of my friends and spend some time with them out of school. I can not believe our wedding is getting so close. I never in a million years thought I would meet a man like Scott. He is a dream come true! The best part about it is we love each other so incredibly much but we are so far from perfect. God works in and between us everyday. It is only through him that Scott and I are able to get through the challenges of life without going crazy. For example, the other day I was struggling with some insecurities of my own and I told Scott. He sat me down and just prayed with me for a while. It seemed as though as soon as I gave the burden to God it was carried away. I am not a big person to cry but recently I have been getting pretty emotional. When I even start thinking about even saying our vows I start to tear up. It is sort of funny, I hope I can hold that all in on the big day!
